The Mac-and-Windows split is the actual problem

Lots of people live on two desktops. Mac at home, Windows at work. Or the other way around. Or a Mac mini in the studio and a gaming Windows tower in the basement. The note app that ships with each one is excellent — inside that one ecosystem. The moment you cross, the workflow falls apart.

Apple Notes does not run on Windows. Sticky Notes does not run on macOS. You can wire up a third-party note suite, but you wanted a sticky note, not a knowledge management system. So most people end up emailing the note to themselves, or pasting it into a chat thread, or just retyping it — and then the “note” lives in two places and they fall out of sync.

Sticki.ly is the smallest possible answer to that one problem. The same sticki shows up on both desktops, in the menu bar and the system tray respectively, and stays in sync without you having to remember anything.

How Sticki.ly handles it

  • Native menu bar on Mac, native tray on Windows

Not a browser tab. Not Electron-pretending-to-be-native. A real menu bar extra on macOS, a real system tray app on Windows. Quick to open, easy to ignore.

  • Sign in once with your Bravely Account

Use Google, Apple, an email + password, or a one-time email code. Same account on both machines. That's the only setup — no file path to configure, no cloud folder to mount.

  • Edits sync without a button

Type on the Mac, the Windows tray reflects the new text in under a second on a normal connection. No “Sync” button to press, no version conflict dialog to resolve. The sticki is one row in the database that every signed-in device renders.

  • Attachments cross over too

Drop a PDF on the Mac, the Windows tray has the same PDF in seconds. One file per sticki keeps it simple — the receipt, the boarding pass, the doc the sticki is about.

  • Offline edits queue and reconcile

No internet? Edit anyway. The change saves locally and pushes the moment you're back online. The far machine pulls the update next time it wakes up.

  • Up to 10 devices per account

Mac plus Windows is two. Add the phone, the tablet, the second laptop, the work machine, the home machine. There's plenty of headroom, and you can revoke any device from Settings.

  • One license covers both desktops

Free works on both. If you go Pro, the unlock follows your account — not your machine. $3.99/mo or $24.99/yr removes the 1-sticki cap on every device.

Setup in three steps

  1. Install on your Mac.

Download the macOS build from bravely.dev/stickily. It's Developer ID signed and notarized. Open it; the icon lives in your menu bar. Sign in with your Bravely Account. Create your sticki.
  2. Install on your Windows PC.

Same download page. The Windows installer is Trusted Signing signed by Bravely Studios LLC. After install, the icon lives in the system tray. Sign in with the same Bravely Account. The sticki is already there.
  3. Edit on either machine.

Type in the menu bar on Mac, the Windows tray catches up. Type in the Windows tray, the Mac menu bar catches up. The same sticki, two trays, two operating systems, no extra clicks.
